A very merry christmas

Christmas this year was a little different this year, but good. Christmas eve we spent the late afternoon with Mikes parents. We opened gifts with them and then headed over to Mikes uncle's for the annual Britto's Christmas. It was so nice to see everyone we don't get to see everyone as much as we would like. I was so happy to be there when Mikes cousin Jennifer told her parents what she was going to have. She's 5 months pregnant with a baby Girl! I'm so excited for her, she really wanted it to be a girl. That was a great present. Baby Jake will have a little girl cousin to play with. They will only be 3 months apart.
So Christmas day we woke up and Tyler was so excited to see what Santa had brought him. He must have been a very good boy. He got his night vision glasses and a new Nerf game for the Wii. Santa even left something for him at my parents house. He got a razor scooter and a leap frog pen that reads books to him. He got some PJ's and lots of cute clothes which he really needed he's growing so much that all this size 5 no longer fit him. My mom bought Mike and I new dishes that are so beautiful. Christmas this year was good and I was sad that my sister Amy's family wasn't here but we got to see them on the web cam at my moms house. We wish everyone a safe New years!!!

6 year old molars at 5?

This morning Tyler had been complaining his tooth hurting, I was on our way to school so I couldn't look at it until we got to his school. I stopped the car and tried to look and without proper lighting I really couldn't see anything. I thought maybe he had just had a chip and maybe the chip cut his gum, or maybe he bite himself. I didn't really worry to much about it. Then tonight I was flossing his teeth before bed and he started complaining again, telling me that I was hurting him. I was in better light and I could get a better look and way in the back is a cusp of a 6yr old molar starting to come through. I could not believe it. I told him his getting a BIG BOY TOOTH, He was so excited he could not wait to tell his daddy. He's only 5 not even 5 1/2, he was always early at everything. He got his first tooth at 4months and crawled at 5 months and walked at 8 1/2 months ran at 11months and started claiming everything he could 15months, so its no surprise that he's still doing things early. lol

Two Wheeler!!!

Yesterday Mike and Tyler worked on learning how to ride a bike with no training wheels or how Ty's says it a "two wheeler". He did a great job learning, as I was doing dishes in the kitchen out of the corner of my eye I saw him peddling away in the back yard. I was so excited for him. This is something he has been wanting for such a long time. He was so proud of him self, and of course his mommy and daddy were too!

30 weeks

I turned 30 weeks on Thursday, Mike and I went to my Dr.'s appointment on Friday and everything seems to be going very well. The flutters I once felt have now turned into kicks and jabs. The baby is doing great and moving a lot and as my doctor said "he's as happy as a clam".

Blessed

So today I had a pretty rough day. I had to attend a funeral for a friend Denise who lost her husband to a tragic accident. It really made me put life into prospective. I'm so sadden for her lost, but at the same time I'm so thankful because it makes me appreciate what I have so much more. I attended the funeral with my old co-workers who I love all so much. It's so nice to see that I worked with such a great office, they all really pulled together and became such a wonderful team. Denise is so lucky to be part of such a great staff of people. I only wish I could be half of what they all are. This past week has taught me so much. To be grateful for what you have, but to also to help others. I'm so inspired by the love this office has for one another. It's so nice to be able to say that I once belonged in that office and that still to this day all of them are like family to me.

Thanksgiving 2008

So this year was my first year doing Thanksgiving. I have a hard time saying I did it because I had so much help from my mom. It was a good year to learn how do it. Corrie was at her in laws and Amy was in Florida so it was just going to be us. I told my mom it was a great year to teach me. So we had my parents and Mikes parents and it was so good. I missed my sisters greatly but it turned out to be a very awesome day. The food was great and the company was even better. Mike and I love having people over at our house. So I think I get to do Thanksgiving again next year. lol

Bolt

So tonight Mike and I took Tyler to see Bolt. He had such a great week at school and daycare that we wanted to show him that he can be rewarded for being so awesome. (I'm kinda thinking the whole hand thing had something to do with) anyways Bolt was a very cute movie. I highly recommend it to anyone. We got to see it in 3D which I think made it even cooler. Tyler loved that movie and was so thankful that he got to see it. So go see it, your kids will love it!!

Tyler's first injury at 5yrs

So I got a call on Thursday from the lady who takes care of Tyler after school. He had been playing on a office chair and jumped off when it was still spinning. (by Juilanna) He landed on his left arm. Luckly it's not broke but he did hurt it bad enought that he needed a Splint and a Sling. Needless to say he is not very happy. It has slowed him down a bit and he has decided never to do that AGAIN!!!

New to this whole Blog thing!!

So my sister Corrie has a blog and I just love it...... So I thought what a great thing to do and since we just got a new computer I thought it would be a great time to start one. So thanks Corrie just one more thing to play on!!!!!
