9 months

Our little Jaker is 9 months already!!! He's 19lbs and just a bundle of joy in our lives. Now that he is starting to be a little more independent Tyler seems to enjoy him a little more. Tyler is still very much in love with his little brother and is a very good big brother. Jake loves Tyler and just wants to be where ever Tyler is. Mike and I feel very blessed to have such beautiful and wonderful boys in our lives.

Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping

Thanksgiving was a very quiet but nice day, we started the morning off with hot Cinnamon rolls and decorating the Christmas tree. Tyler and Jake has a good time. Mike worked on the front yard trying to get the out side lights up. We headed to my parents for an early dinner and watched Santa Buddies with Tyler to finish the night off. It was nice, the food was great and I really loved being with my parents.
I decided this year I wanted to see what shopping black Friday was all about. So at 11:30 I dragged my sister with me to Toys R us for what could have been the longest line I had ever saw. Luckily I found some friends who were in line and let us cut in. It was a really fun night. I really enjoyed getting out and being with my sister. My mom even joined in the fun around 3:30am. We really didn't find much to get up so early for but it was a great bonding experience for us all. I love it and I'm thinking we should do this every year!!!!

Happy Halloween 2009

We had a great time this yr trick or treating, On Sunday before Halloween we went truck or treating at the church with my sister and best friend and our families. Tyler had a parade at school on Friday. Then on Saturday we all went to my sisters eat pizza with my parents and then went trick or treating around her neighborhood.

Jake is 8 months

Such a busy little guy, but hes so much fun and brings our family so much happiness. A true blessing

Tyler is 6

Where does the time go. I can not get over how fast the years just seem to fly by. Tyler is 6 years old. We celebrated hes birthday with lots of friends and family. My parents we nice enough to let us have it at their house.

Jake is 7 months

So Jake is 7 months wow how time flies, he has gotten so big so fast. He now has 5 teeth and is into everything. He is very loud and makes it known when he is in the room. He crawling has improved and hes very fast. He HATES being held down to be changed its a challenge. Hes a pretty happy baby. He lights up when Tyler walks into a room. He started to say Da Da and Mike just loves it. Hes always rubbing in. :o) Jake's has now started to eat foods like gold fish crackers and things he can munch on. We feel very blessed to have such 2 wonderful children

Tylers

So Tyler started school a few weeks ago and it seems to be a better year then last year already. He really enjoys the daycare he goes to after school and his teachers. This year he has 2 teachers. Tyler is repeating Kindergarten, Mike and I along with his teacher from last year and the principal and a few other people we had to meet with think it was a little to early last year. Tyler started last year as a 4year old almost 5 year old. We both agree that his attention span just wasn't there along with some maturity that he needed. This year he is one of the older kids and I can already see a big difference in him. He seems to be able to handle directions a little better and has been asking me to read to him which last year we made him sit down and listen to us read to him. I'm really happy with this decision that we made to give Tyler the gift of time and just let him grow a little more.

Jake is 6 Months old

So Jake is 6 months, I cant believe its been half a year since he was born. Time is just flying by and I cant seem to slow it down. I want to capture every moments of Jake's life. He's growing so fast. Hes amazing in so many ways. Hes such a great baby, he is so smiley and loves being held and kissed on. He loves his big brother and is trying to keep up with him. There are so many new things that hes doing. He's full on crawling now, pulling him self up on everything and has learned the art of crawling and then sitting him self up. Its so crazy to think how much he does for someone who's only been on this earth for 6 months. Here are a few pictures of Jake at 6 months

San Ramon water park

Today Corrie invited me and the boys to join here and the girls to the water park. Tyler had a great time with his cousins. He was so happy to play with them. The weather was so hot today so it was very nice to get out of the house and do something fun even Jake got into the water. Thank you Corrie for thinking of us. Hopefully we can do something again before all the kids go back to school.

Darens Birthday

On Saturday August 8th, Mikes cousins where in town from Texas visiting. It was a family party and a surprise party for his cousins Daren who will be turning 40. It was a cowboy themed birthday. We had such a great time. I really enjoy being around his family. I don't have alot of family around so when we get together with his cousins I really enjoy it. My family is kinda scattered all over from Utah, Wyoming Texas, Minnesota. I have 1 uncle here in California but no cousins here. So I always tell Mike how lucky he is to have so many cousins that live so close. Although it doesn't seem like we seem them that often. His family lives in Pleasanton, Stockton, Fremont so fairly close. Here's a few of my favorite pictures from the party. Thank you to Uncle John and Irene for hosting such a wonderful event.
