Jake is 5months

Jake turned 5 months on Monday I think?? lol He is doing so much he has mastered rolling over and has now started the first stage of crawling. I thought for sure Tyler was my only child that would grow so fast and that Jake was going to be so much slower... Ha ya right Jake is following in his Brothers foot steps. Over last weekend he also got his first tooth and just this morning I can see a second one making its way. Poor baby explains why such a bad night for the both of us. So I told myself I was going to try to be better at this whole blogging thing now that my life has starting settling down and things have become more normal around here. It was a few weeks of adjusting to Jake then I went back to work a few days a weeks. So I finally feel like I have a handle on life. Tyler is doing great he finished T-ball and with 2 trophy's he couldn't be happier. He had a great year of playing I think by far this was his bestest year. Next year he will move up to coach pitch. As for Mike he has takin a new job and it's nice he works 4/10s and has Fridays off. So he should have 3 day weekends but he does side jobs on those days. He trys not to work Sundays and be home for family time. He's working hard right now because we both want me to be home more with the kids and also we are planning on going to Disneyland at the end of the month. YAH but Tyler doesnt know. Ok so thats the 411 on us for now. Things are great life is great. Heres some new pictures.....

Jakes is 4 months

Jake is 4 months old, He is so happy and such a great baby. He just started to roll over this week and I think he's teething :o( I cant complain he is amazing he sleeps through the night and is so easy. He's beautiful blue eyes have remained blue and the are so amazing. I get so many complements on them. When Tyler is around Jake lights up and is all smiles for his bother. Its the cutest thing ever. Tylers asking for another bother! lol

Happy 1st birthday Mariyah

Mine and Mikes god daughter turned 1 on the 3rd of May. Her 1st birthday party was so amazing. It was at a park in Brentwood and had a circus theme to it. My best friend Veronica did a great job with her party. She had thought of everything. Jump house, a clown, a taco truck to cater the event. cotton candy and the cutest goody buckets for all the kids. Mike and I was so blessed with such great friends and feel so lucky that they have choose us to be Mariyah's god parents. He are a few pictures of the party. Jake is 2months old already

I feel like I have been so busy lately, I forgot about this blog thing. So my wonderful co-worker Paula informed me that its been 4 weeks since my last update. So here my update. Jake is 2 months old and getting so big. He is a very good baby he is almost sleeping threw the night and when he wakes up in the morning his smiles are so big. He's a very happy baby. The only time he gets really mad is when he's eating and you take a break to burp him. He's eyes are still very blue so we are thinking that he's going to keep them. I think it would be cool. One Brown eyed monster and a blue eyed monster. Here's his pictures I took on Monday the 27th. I also mailed out his very cute baby announcements today. I cant wait for everyone to see them. I think they turned out so good. Tyler is doing ok. He's been a bit of a handful this last weeks but we are working it out. His school year is coming to an end and will be here before I know it. He's really enjoying T-ball giants and golf lessons. Its something he look forward to during the week and weekend. I'll try to be a little better on posting.

Jake is one month!!

Wow how time flies I cannot believe Jake is already a month old. He doesnt go back to the Dr.'s until 2months, but I can tell he is getting big. He is sleeping pretty good through the night. He gets up once around 1 or 2 am. He has started to smile and cooing. Its really cute. He reconizes voices, oh and his newest thing is screaming until he's bright red. Im not sure how to break that. 2 is keeping me busy

So its been about 3weeks since Jake was born and wow am I busy. Jake is a very good baby I feel very blessed. He seems to be getting on a schedule now and is doing great. He's growing and its so hard to believe that he's been here for three weeks already. Time is just flying. Tyler has been a wonderful Big brother and just loves Jake. Tyler is been very busy since Jake was born. He started golf lessons and T-Ball. This is Tylers 3rd yr in T-ball and this year he has a real uniform and is on the Giants. He is doing great at both golf and baseball. My dad meets us at the golf course and watches him. Its nice I enjoy my dad being apart of Tylers golf lessons. I know he enjoys seeing him golf too. So during the week I think we only have 3 days where we dont have anything to do. So I thought I would just share what we have been up to and why I havent been blogging.

Tyler lost 2 teeth!!!

Gosh how fast they grow, Tyler lost his very first tooth last night. He was so excited. Both is bottom 2 front teeth have been very loose for awhile. So he lost one on his own and he was brave enough to let me pull the other one out. So last night he lost 2 teeth. He was so excited to go to school and tell his teacher. Its kind of a big deal in Kindergarten to loose teeth. Your name goes on the tooth board. So heres a few pictures of Tyler with out he's teeth and he got from $10 From the tooth fairy. He looks so cute.

Jakes first well check appt

Yesterday we had Jake's first baby well check appointment. He lost a little weight he was 6lbs 5oz. He is doing great, he's eating very well and pooping very well. I think yesterday we had 8 poopy diapers. lol. We are all adjusting to our new lives. Tyler is doing great. He love to hold his baby brother and is very helpful when ever I need anything. He got to stay home from school yesterday with all the excitement and visitors we just thought it was best.

Welcome Baby Jake

Thank you Corrie for hacking into my blog and updating everyone, lol! Baby Jake arrived Feb 27, 2009 at 12:31pm weighing in at 6lbs 13oz and 19 3/4inches long. I started having contractions on my own. They woke me up about 3am and about 5am the started to get a little worse. I woke Mike up (yes he was sleeping through it) and I jumped into the shower. Im a little vain I put make up on and did my hair in between my contractions. I WAS NOT going to the hospital ugly. lol So by the time I got to the hospital I was in alot of pain and in active labor. I was dilated to 5cm and things were moving pretty fast. I was only there about an hour and then I got my epidural. I was a very happy girl once i got that. The nurse asked me if I wanted them to break my water and start pushing. I asked if we could wait until my mom got there. So when they did break my water I wasn't dilated all the way to 10 but they thought I could push it away. I tired a few times but it didn't work so they stopped and decided to turn me side to side. Well then my contractions slowed down, so they hooked my up to pitocin to get things moving again. The baby and I didnt responded very well to it. The baby heart rate got very low and it scared everyone. They gave me a shot in my arm to stop my contractions all together and took me off the pitocin for about 20mins to see if the baby's heart would go back up. Things were fine after that 20 mins and I was pushing and he was born @ 12:31. We had great nurses and Dr's and midwife. Everything turn out fine. We are home and doing great, a little tired but that's to be expected. Thank you to every ones love!
